    What time is check-in?

    Check-in is officially from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. Earlier check-in is subject to room availability. For this reason, the only way to guarantee an early check-in is to book the room from the day prior to arrival. If it is not possible to check-in earlier than 3.00pm, our guests may leave luggage with our front office team at the reception area.

    What time is check-out?

    Check-out is at 11.00 am on the day of departure. Late check-out is subject to availability. It may be possible to check-out later than 11.00am with a €10 charge per hour until 3.00pm maximum. It is advisable to discuss the possibility of this with our front office team at the reception desk.

    Does the hotel offer baggage storage?

    Yes, you can leave your luggage at the reception free of charge before check-in or after check-out.

    Does the hotel offer free WiFi?

    Yes, our guests have complimentary access to our hotel’s WiFi throughout the hotel and in all guest bedrooms.

    Is there a laundry service available?

    Yes, laundry service is available at an extra fee.

    What do I do if I accidentally left some items in the hotel?

    Are pets permitted in the hotel?

    No pets are allowed at the hotel, except for guide dogs and service animals.

    Yes, the reception desk is in operation 24 hours day.

    What is the hotel’s smoking policy?

    All bedrooms at Maldron Hotel Pearse Street are completely non-smoking. We do have a designated outdoor smoking area at the front of the hotel to accommodate guests who smoke. A deep cleaning fee will be charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no smoking policy.

    Where exactly is Maldron Hotel Pearse Street in Dublin city centre?

    We are located on Pearse Street, less than a 5-minute walk from Grand Canal Square and approximately a 15-minute walk from O’Connell Bridge.     How far is the hotel from Dublin Airport?

    We are a 30 to 35-minute drive from Dublin Airport.

    We recommend taking the Airlink Bus 757 which stops on Westland Row, located just 500 metres and a 7-minute walk from Maldron Hotel Pearse Street. Fares are €7 single for an adult and €12 return. The journey time is approximately 40 minutes. Alternativity, you can take a taxi which are available outside arrivals in both terminals. Journey time and fares depend on traffic,.     Yes, we have an underground car park at the hotel. Please note that spaces are limited and are offered on a first come first served basis and the cost for overnight parking is €15 per day.

    What room types does the hotel offer?

    Maldron Hotel Pearse Street boasts a total of 119 comfortable hotel rooms. Depending on your needs, you can choose between 6 different room types, including Double Rooms, Twin Rooms, Triple Rooms, Executive Rooms, Family Rooms and Studio Apartments. We also 4 interconnecting rooms available at the hotel which are each comprised of one double bed and one single bed.

    Do you have wheelchair-accessible rooms?

    Yes, we have 6 wheelchair accessible rooms. These rooms have roll-in wet rooms and are fully compliant.

    Do you have family rooms?

    Yes, we can offer a quadruple room also called a family room. Each of these is comprised of two double beds. That means that four people will share two double beds.

    Can I get a cot or camp bed in my room?

    Yes, cots are available free of charge on request. While we do have camp beds available they can only be used in some room types and must be checked with our reservations team at the time of booking.

    Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?

    Our executive rooms have air-conditioning, our standard rooms do not.

    Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bath?

    Most of our hotel rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a dual rain shower. However, we do have a small number of hotel rooms available with baths. If you have a preference, please let our reservations team know prior to your arrival.

    Does the hotel offer wake-up calls?

    Yes, wake-up calls can be arranged with our reception team.

    What in-room amenities are included?

    All of our bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board as well as tea/coffee making facilities for your complimentary use.

    What type of room should I book for three adults?

    Our triple rooms have a double bed and a single bed. This means that two adults would need to share a double bed. We do not have rooms with three single beds.

    Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

    Whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick snack on the go, our Grain & Grill bar and restaurant has everything to meet your foodie needs 7 days a week.

    Does the hotel offer breakfast?

    Yes, we are renowned for a great selection of breakfast options available each morning. Choose from traditional grilled breakfast items as well as healthier and nutritious options to kickstart your morning. Breakfast is served in our Grain & Grill restaurant 7 days a week from 7am to 10am Monday to Friday and from 8am to 10:30am at weekends and bank holidays.

    Maldron Hotel Pearse Street offers both room only and bed & breakfast rates. Room only rates do not include breakfast. If breakfast isn’t included in your rate, you can still purchase breakfast at reception.

    What are the opening times of the Grain & Grill?

    Lunch and dinner served are served at our Grain & Grill daily between 3pm and 10pm.

    Does the restaurant cater food for allergies?

    Yes, all our of menus have a full allergy listing. Our chefs will be more than happy to assist if you have any questions regarding items on our menu.

    Does Gain & Grill offer a dedicated kid’s menu?

    Yes, we offer a dedicated menu for our little ones.

    Do you have room service?

    Yes, in-room dining is available daily from 3pm to 10pm. You can order from our Click & Go menu, available through our Guest Service Platform. The food can be then collected at the collection point in our restaurant at your requested time.

    Is there a reservation for dinner required?

    No, a dining reservation is in general not required and we’re happy to accept restaurant walk-ins. However, we advise you to reserve your table in advance to avoid disappointment.     Do you cater for large groups? Can I book a private dining space for a special occasion?

    No, unfortunately, we don’t have any function space.

    Can I claim back on the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme?

    Yes, we are delighted to confirm that all Maldron Hotels are registered for the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme. That means if you stay with us between 1st October 2020 and 30th April 2021 you can claim up to €125 under this scheme, please see revenue.ie for more information and details.

    What is the best way to make a reservation?

    What should I do if I haven’t received a booking confirmation?

    What payment methods does the hotel accept?

    At Maldron Hotel Pearse Street, we accept all major debit cards and credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

    What is the hotel’s credit/debit card policy?

    A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all bookings made online or over the phone, unless in cases where this is otherwise stated. Please note that nothing is charged to the card at booking stage when booking directly with the hotel (with the exception of advance purchase offers or bookings that require a deposit. This will be clearly outlined in the special offer terms and conditions).

    For all rooms that are being paid for in cash must be accompanied with photographic ID. No rooms will be let unless payment is guaranteed.

    What age are children for the purpose of hotel packages?

    Under 12’s are considered to be children.

    Are there any age restrictions when booking a hotel room?

    To book a hotel room, you must be at least 18 years old. All under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.

    Can I show up at the hotel without a booking?

    Yes, we accept walk-in bookings. However, we would always recommend to call ahead to the hotel or booking online prior to arriving to secure your reservation and to avoid disappointment.

    Can I extend my stay?

    Yes, depending on availability, we’ll be happy to accommodate you for further nights at an additional cost. Please contact our reception team at any stage during your stay and we will happily arrange the rest for you.

    How do I amend or cancel my booking?

    If you have booked directly with the hotel, you can amend or cancel your booking by visiting the ‘Manage Booking’ section on our website by using your confirmation number and email address.     What is the cancellation policy?

    If you have booked the reservation directly with the hotel over the phone or online, Maldron Hotel Pearse Street offers free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the day of arrival unless advance purchase non-refundable rate was selected. Please note that some special offers and key dates outlined in the terms and conditions may specify a special cancellation policy applicable to that offer and date.

    How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?

    If you have booked via a third-party website, you will need to contact the third-party website directly to amend or cancel your booking as we cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that they have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.

    What does our “no show” policy entail?

    If you do not show on the day of your booking or didn’t successfully cancel, you will be charged the full amount for your first night’s stay. If you have booked our “advanced purchase” or “prepay and save” rates, you will incur a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay.
