Trinity College is located just 10 minute walk from Maldron Hotel Pearse Street, the most popular things to see on the campus of Trinity College are ‘The Old Library’ and ‘The Book of Kells’. The Book of Kells is one of the most famous manuscripts in history and this 680 page book was completed in 800AD. It is a must see for anyone visiting Dublin. If it’s a sunny day you can take a stroll around the picturesque grounds of the campus where you might even see a cricket match take place on one of their many playing fields.

National Wax Museum Plus is a great attraction to visit with all the family. You will have a change to meet your celebrity icons as well as famous characters from Irish history. The wax museum is located in Temple Bar and is well worth a visit.

Dublin Zoo is located in the phoenix park and spreads across an amazing 60 acres of park land. A trip to the zoo will give your family a chance to see animals from the artic, the plains of Africa and the Indian rainforest. This is an attraction loved by all.

To keep the kids entertained, The Bord Gais Energy Theatre located just 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel hosts a fantastic selection of shows and theatre productions.  Annie and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang play this year at the theatre so there is plenty of shows to choose from for all the family.
